The Estranged Wayfarers is a concept-driven art and apparel collective inspired by the spiritual roots of the Islamic Tradition - an attempt to reflect its subtle but profound impact on the world around us.

This tradition has been carried from father to son, teacher to student, its influence vibrating through space and time, often forgotten or unknown to many - with the spiritual root left unrecognised, buried beneath mundane practice.

Our name is drawn from the immortal words of The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , where he advised, “Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a traveler.” He also said, “Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being strange, so blessed are the strangers.”

These teachings reflect a core part of our vision: living with presence and purpose, while remaining rooted in the spiritual realities that often appear hidden or forgotten - but in truth, make up the very fabric of the reality we live today.
